The Katrina Files



The aftermath of Hurrican Katrina/Nola floods was an Apocalypse scenario in the modern day US. For any survivalist there are many important lessons to be extrapolated from this event. A lot went wrong.


The Katrina/Nola Floods serve as an important primer for a modern survival situation, as we saw a major city in the United States, with the response of modern agencies, crumble into a crisis situation which surreally resembed something out of a zombie movie. There are many lessons to be learned from this disaster.


So you think you are prepared? If some disaster hits your town you have your survival cache and you're ready to grab your shotgun or mil surp rifle and all the ammo you have stashed away and are ready to protect your family and prosper. Not so fast:
